Teacher Training is a world that doesn’t exist anywhere else. It is magical, intimate, experiential, sensational, challenging, exciting, and most of all, it will teach you how to live more aligned on your life’s journey. This 200 hr. training will teach you how to live Yoga, breathe Yoga, and teach Yoga to any level practitioner.

Training Modules

Each module will be offered over a two week period (about 33 hours per period). Each week there will be a two-hour LIVE (and recorded) Zoom session for questions and for areas of study that require a face-to-face learning style.

The training will be split up into two 100 hour training sessions that can be taken separately or together. The first 100 hours will be dedicated to learning about Yoga and all of its limbs. The second 100 hours will be focused on the actual teaching of the physical practice.

Part 1 (100 hrs.)

Foundations

A supportive and stable basis to grow your understanding of what Yoga truly is. This module is the foundation for all future modules. It will lay the groundwork for upcoming expansion.

Subtle Body Energentics

Discover the layers beneath the physical aspect of our bodies. This is known as “Life Force” energy, and it is what animates us, what allows us to breathe and move in this world. Learn about “Life Force” energy and other types of energies that help us tap into our innate consciousness.

Yogic Philosophy

The Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras are two of the most fundamental Yogic texts. Uncover why these texts are alive, and can be used as guidelines and tools to live as a Yogi in 2021.

Part 2 (100 hrs.)

Asana and Alignment

We will unpack 108 Yoga postures, dive into the physical anatomy and alignment of each shape as well as how to practice these poses in an intentional, safe, and sustainable way.

Cultivate Confidence

Find YOUR authentic voice as a teacher by creating confidence through effective and efficient cueing as well as learning to speak from the heart. This is the Art of Teaching, to remember YOU ARE WORTHY and that you have a necessary and unique gift to give.

Test Out/Graduation

Take all the knowledge and skills that you acquired during the training and put them into action. Create an intentional 60 minute Yoga class infused with a theme and music to teach to your peers. Walk away with a deepened connection to this practice as both a student and teacher!

See what our previous students have to say...

"When I learned Brooke would be offering a yoga teacher training, I jumped at the opportunity to take part. And, much like her daily classes, her trainings were a wonderful opportunity to delve deeper into my practice and see it from a completely different paradigm. The weeks spent with Brooke during that time, layed a foundation for what, then became, a deeply spiritual approach to practicing combined with an appreciation that goes far beyond the physical aspect and benefits I had been prioritizing prior to then. It’s that ability for an instructor to shift your paradigm and lead you to see something you’ve stared at for so long, from a different perspective, that separates the good from the great. It’s a gift that I believe, isn’t so easy to teach, it must come from within. And this gift, is in Brooke and she uses her gift to lift others up."

Testimonial

"I cannot recommend Brooke's YTT enough! She is an amazingly gifted teacher and her passion for yoga is contagious! She is deeply dedicated to all 8 limbs of yoga and teaches them in a way that is accessible and resonant. She speaks from the heart and encourages you to do the same...everyone's truth is valid; she holds space for it all: the tears, the fears, the joy, the growth. Not only is she super knowledgeable and passionate about yoga, but she is so REAL, down-to-earth, and FUN to be around! She also seems to attract people like this, and I have had the pleasure of meeting some super incredible people through Brooke's training and retreats. Overall, taking Brooke's 200-hour YTT was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. It has laid a solid foundation for me to build upon as I continue to grow as a teacher, a student, and a person. I'm forever grateful!"

For the past 5 years that I have taught this  training, it has been registered under Yoga Alliance. This year, I decided to pull my membership both as a teacher and as a school. This was both scary and at the same time LIBERATING.

Over the years, I had realized that my training was not only meeting the expectations and standards of YA but in every way, exceeded them. I found that I kept sending my yearly dues because I felt trapped. I felt like the only way to legitimize my training was to keep paying to have the “stamp of approval.” Now, I don’t want to put down YA, as I do think their original intention was to help teacher trainers set a standard curriculum. But for me, their standards and basis for a curriculum aren’t serving me as a teacher of teachers any longer. So I stepped away. I took a leap of faith. And here we are, offering a beautiful program that holds Yoga in the highest regard and is looking to create teachers that can teach ALL of the Yoga.

I have taught over 5000 Yoga classes, 12 Yoga Teacher Trainings, and am certified in Aerial Yoga, Cycle Yoga, and Yoga Energy. Over any of the credentials I hold, I am a teacher of teachers and I believe it is my soul’s purpose to continue to share my knowledge and experience with students willing to open their hearts and minds and live Yoga on and off the mat!
